Free if you need it....and about the curriculum's schedule.

I just wanted to make a new post to say the new Orthodox Christian Morning Time curriculum is available for free upon email request. I know these are difficult times for many families, so if you are on the fence about the curriculum because of the cost, or if purchasing the curriculum would make your budget a bit tight, please just email for a free copy.

The curriculum is also available for sale because it did take time to put together, and I think people value things more if they pay for them. Additionally, I think paying for the curriculum can be a motivator to stick with it! But I completely understand that some families are in a position where a free copy would also be valued, so please send an email if you would benefit from a free copy for your family.

Also, I wanted to add a quick explanation about the schedule for the curriculum, which I also need to add to the FAQs. I thought and thought about if I should include feast days, or make the curriculum align to any sort of church calendar. However, it just didn't seem feasible. Between the Old and New Calendars, people starting school at different times of the year (we start in late July often and Australia starts their new school year in January), it seemed that trying to align the curriculum schedule to feast days or specific saint's days on the calendar would make it harder to use! Since the curriculum only includes one saint a week (though granted if using a Synaxarion some of the readings are long), you can easily layer in additional reading about saints and/or lessons about feast days when special feast day comes up on the calendar.
